This is a spellbinding story of dysfunctional families, abuse, and revenge. From the first page, I could not put this down until the heart-stopping conclusion. With characters as unforgettable as these, I will be looking for Ms. Hale’s future novels. 5 stars

Patricia Hale is a graduate of the MFA program at Goddard College in Vermont.
