The Big Thrill Recommends: ENEMY OF THE STATE by Robert Swartwood

Everyone thinks Daniel Burke is dead. The black op he was involved in went south, and he didn’t make it out. But there’s more to the story, and as anyone familiar with the novels of Robert Swartwood knows, you can count on a roller-coaster of death-defying complications, catastrophes, and quirks. Danny Burke can trust no one as he navigates one disaster after another to avenge his brother’s death in Book Two of Swartwood’s Killing Room series. The CIA believes he is a traitor, and others in the government want him dead. He’s the only one who can expose the real traitor, and he’s in a race to do so before it’s too late.
To call this book a high-octane thriller would be an understatement. Danny careens from one life-altering fight to another, sometimes coming closer to the truth, sometimes falling back even farther. His own team wants him dead, and they possess the black ops skills to do it. He can trust no one, and they all are out to get him. Swartwood weaves this tale with such skill and determination you’ll have to stay up late to finish it, and even then, you won’t figure it all out until the very end.
If you like thrillers with lots of death-defying action, this is the story for you.
