What do you hope readers will take away from this book?

I learned once again that danger can come at us from any person and any lade, and we cannot discount anyone when our lives are threatened.
How does this book make a contribution to the genre?

It enhances the awareness of danger out there for even simple things like promotional tours and hometown visits. Are we ever really safe anywhere?

Was there anything new you discovered, or that surprised you, as you wrote this book?

I learned more than I ever thought about cyberstalking and how frightening it is.

No spoilers, but what can you tell us about your book that we won’t find in the jacket copy or the PR material?

Many of the ideas and much of he information in the book came from my own experiences and visits to my daughter and son-in-law who live in a town similar to Arrowhead Bay.

What authors or books have influenced your career as a writer, and why?

Allison Brennan, strong heroines and stories that hook you; Lisa Jackson, strong book with shocking twist; Brad Thor, because he writes the thrillers I want to; John Lescroart, who creates a great story with strong characters; Toni Anderson, characters who move the story along.
