Esther Luttrell became a mystery writer by accident. Right after her husband walked off and left her, she was driving around, trying to think how to do away with him. The more she considered possibilities, the more she wondered if she didn’t have a real plot line. Six weeks later she completed “Murder in the Movies”, where she murdered his rearend. It was accepted by the first publisher to read it, was later picked up by Harlequin Worldwide Mysteries, and has never been out of print since. Now the author of several mysteries, a screenwriting textbook, and inspirational book and a line of children’s books, Esther tested the ebook market with Dimestore Novels. “Murder in Magenta” is the third in that series. Esther lives in Midwest when she isn’t speaking at writers and women’s conferences. Three more books – two of them mysteries – are scheduled for release by January of 2015.
