G8 by Mike Brogan
Donovan Rourke, a federal agent, learns that a man name Katill will assassinate the world’s eight most powerful leaders at the G8 Summit in three days.
The President asks Donovan Rourke to head up security in Brussels. Donovan agrees, but reluctantly, because his wife was murdered there.
In Europe, he works with the G8 Security Director, and a beautiful translator. They’re shocked to learn that Katill is the same man who murdered Donovan’s wife.
They’re even more shocked to learn Katill has just penetrated the billion-dollar wall of G8 security. They watch in horror as the leaders walk into Katill’s trap, and realize it’s too late to stop them …
“ … Mike Brogan’s G8 sets a rollercoaster pace from the start and never lets up. Relentless, with a villain devious enough to chill us all beyond the breathless last page. I really enjoyed this book.” Loren D. Estleman, four-time Shamus Award Winner
“ … G8 is a rip roaring action suspense thriller from beginning to end. Brogan is a master storyteller and a gifted novelist. This is the kind of novel that block-buster movies are made from!” Midwest Book Review
G8 is available from Amazon and the author’s website.

Working in London, Mike Brogan experienced terrorism up close. Flying glass close. Two bombs exploded less than one hundred feet from his flat. No injuries, but as he swept up the glass, he decided to write G8.
Brogan was the creative director of a major US ad agency working on General Motors and other blue chip clients in London and on the European continent. His television and radio commercials won accolades in the Europe and were honored at the prestigious Cannes Advertising Festival.
But all this time Brogan was writing what he really loved: suspense thrillers. He wrote early in the morning, at night and whenever he could grab a few minutes.
And it all paid off. His first thriller, BUSINESS TO KILL FOR , won a coveted Writer’s Digest award. WD called it … “the equal of any thriller read in recent years.”
And Midwest Book Review called his second novel DEAD AIR, “… a Lord of the Ring of thrillers.”
And KIRKUS called his MADISON’S AVENUE “… a satisfying plot … a true treat … a great ride!”
And four-time Shamus award winner, Loren Estleman calls Brogan’s new suspense thriller G8 – “…. a rollercoaster pace to chill us beyond the breathless last page. You won’t see the end coming!”
